Although new residents of Portland, we have been exploring visiting and exploring the city for years. Below are some of our favorite places to explore around the city!
Portland's food rivals any city in the world. From food carts to fine dining, there's something for everyone.
Pleasure Burger Cricket Cafe Vista Spring Cafe Salt & Straw Papi Chulo's Harlow Papa Haydn Fillmore Trattoria Lovejoy Bakers Tara Thai Northwest Mother's Bistro & Bar Voodoo Doughnut - Old Town Goose Hollow Inn Marco's Café The StarTake advantage of the greenery of the Pacific Northwest and explore the city!
Hopscotch Portland Pioneer Courthouse Square Oregon Zoo Japanese Garden Rose Garden Sellwood Park Pittock Mansion Portland Art Museum Forest Park OMSI Multnomah Falls South Hawthorne Waterfront Park Providence Park OHSU Tram Hollywood Theatre McMenamins Kennedy SchoolWe recommend staying west of the river, near NW 23rd Avenue. Ana and Doug live in SW Portland, and 2 of the 3 events on on the west side, but the wedding is east Portland. Sellwood, in SE Portland is also an amazing location, with tons of walkable shops and restaurants. Anywhere works though, it's a small city!
